Symphyandra wanneri

Symphyandra wanneri is an elegant plant related to the Campanulas. It has similar blue bell-shaped flowers, in this case of a nice deep cobalt blue, with large slightly tubular bells, held on wiry reddish stems, with toothed deep green leaves. It is monocarpic, usually flowering in its second summer, but sets plenty of seed.
