Draba fladnizensis is not as elegant as many Drabas, being larger than most of the others grown in gardens. It is useful for its neat ground-hugging tight rosettes of coarse, dimpled leaves and dense clusters of white flowers in the spring. After flowering, the stems lengthen, so that by the time it is in seed it resembles many of its weedy relatives.
