Ceratotheca triloba

Ceratotheca triloba is an annual or biennial from South Africa which has become popular in recent years. It is easily grown, with flower stems reaching a height of about four feet or more. They bear nettle-type leaves and large, fuzzy, soft mauve foxglove-type flowers with deep purple lines on the lower lip and throat in summer.

Despite its common name, it is not from the same family as the Foxgloves, which may be why the flowers are a more blue shade than Foxgloves.
