____________________________________

Linaria maroccana is a North African version of our own wild Toadflax. It is an elegant little annual, useful for adding colour to the front of a border or for a children's garden. It grows to a height of around a foot, with finely divided ferny foliage, and dense spikes of elegant little lipped flowers with a long spur, often with a contrasting blotch on the lip, in summer.
