Geranium incanum is a fairly new introduction for our gardens from South Africa. It forms a neat spreading mound of very finely cut greyish leaves, taking on a reddish tinge in winter. It grows to only around 6" high, sprawling to cover an area of over two feet across, which can be smothered all summer with greyish buds opening to bright purple rounded flowers.
