Viola riviniana

Viola riviniana is a familiar wildflower, found in woodland, hedges, field edges and other shady grassy places in spring. It is a green leafy plant, with branching stems of slightly fuzzy heart-shaped leaves, and large violets which unfortunately have no perfume.

Viola riviniana was used in traditional herbal medicine to reduce fever.
